My First 3 Months in San Diego - As Told via Anchorman Gifs
I was leaving all my friends back in NoVA, and I was sad. But I knew we would always be friends!
At first I was super excited to be out in San Diego!
The first month I ate more Mexican food than I did through my entire life. I got so sick of it. I just now started eating it again.
I was feeling pretty homesick and was missing my friends, whom I always lean on.
There were times I thought I would go back to the East coast…
Then I saw the weather channel and how cold it was back home and came to my senses.
I ventured out to places like Tijuana with friends! It was everything I thought it would be and more.
I love my new jib and my coworkers are super nice.
Came across these stock photos while putting together comps at work today. Who in the world would ever use these? #StockPhotoFail
1. Because I use my iPad at the side of the pool all the time
2. Just your average afternoon on the sidewalk… what is that on the sidewalk?
I Love Discover…Blatant Promotion? Why YES!
I love Discovercard. I have been a member for quite some time, and below is just one reason why.
Stellar customer appreciation!
Hungy? Try Hannibal’s Catering…
I stumbled upon this catering website at work today: www.HannibalsCatering.com … not quite the best name for a catering company…. OUCH. Did anyone think about the name? (That’s the marketer in me)
Ava (coworker) didn’t take but a second to think of a fantastic tagline: Serving You TM.
E (coworker) was of course quick to note the reference in history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannibal#Military_history)
I couldn’t resist but give the website a quick “paint” makeover….
Making Button Bobby Pins
Saturday afternoon I felt like being a little crafty so I decided to make decorative button bobby pins. Below are the few simple steps I took to make them.
1. Purchased craft-style bobby pins and super glue.
2. Collected spare buttons I had laying around and tucked away in my jewelry box.
3. Grabbed buttons and started affixing them to the top of the bobby pins.
4. Pinned them to a newspaper to allow them to dry.
5. Done! Stuck one in my hair :)
